Tibetan Medicine Tree of Treatment: limited edition print, signed and numbered by Watercolorist Jean Herzel

Tibetan Medicine Tree of Treatment

This Tibetan Medicine Tree of Treatment by artist Jean Herzel was created for the cover of the book, Tibetan Healing: The Modern Legacy of Medicine Buddha by Peter Fenton, Quest Books, 1999. It is Jean's rendition of one of the many healing thangkas in Tibetan medicine. Throughout the centuries this iconography has been passed down as a tool to preserve sacred healing principles. Perhaps it is the beautiful colors, or perhaps it is the appeal of an image that speaks to the body and soul that has made this painting sought after by so many people. By popular demand, a giclee print that measures 18 ¼" X 21¾" unframed has been released by the artist. It is printed with fine quality inks on archival paper. The edition is limited to 150 and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

By popular request, Jean is now offering a smaller print version, created to the same archival standards as the larger ones. This print measures approximately 11" X 15" unframed and is limited to an edition of 100. It is the perfect size to frame in a standard 16" X 20" frame, making framing affordable.
